Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read AInews24, on any device and with any assistive technology. That is why we built the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link;
- full keyboard use with a visible focus indicator;
- text contrast of at least 4.5:1, in both the light and the dark theme;
- text alternatives for article images;
- a layout that adapts to phones, and text that can be enlarged without losing content;
- touch targets large enough to tap easily;
- tables with column headers and a contact form with a label on every field.
How we tested it
On 29 September 2026 we checked the home page, an article and the contact page with AChecker (WCAG 2.1 AA, desktop and mobile) and with axe-core, and fixed what they found. Automated checks catch only some problems, so this statement describes our target; it is not a formal certification.
Known limitations
- we do not control the external websites we link to;
- the cookie banner comes from a third-party plugin (Complianz).
